Kenneth Johnson is an artist living and working in a home studio in Claremont, California.
Kenneth received his BA in art and MA Ed in secondary art education from Cal Poly University in Pomona, California, where he concentrated on drawing and printmaking. He received his secondary teaching credential from Mt. Saint Mary's College in Los Angeles. He has been teaching Advanced Placement Art History and other art courses at Arcadia High School in Arcadia, California since 1995. He was a co-tenent of an art studio located in the Claremont Packing House during 2007-2008 before building his own studio. Kenneth is currently working on a series of paintings, Past, Present, and Future Tense with a planned solo exhibition of these works in October, 2009. He came back to creating art a couple of years ago after focusing on an art-education career for the past twenty years and is waking up each day with the hope and inspiration to create something visually and intellectually stimulating for a discerning public.
